I have had a few "blue-screen" crashes all with "dxgmms1.sys" as the item listed as causing the crash

also.. the "drive E" that the error messages keep refering to... doesnt acutally exist.

any suggestions, help is appreciated.

system info:

core2 duo 3.33 and OC'd to 4gHz (more stable oc'd)

rapor HD 10k for EQ only

790i Ultra

(2) GTX280 (yes i have tried using only 1 card)

4gig of DDR3 ram @ 2000mHz

No news yet here. The information you posted doesn't have any glaring issues that would be the cause of such errors. You may be able to try ATI video drivers version 10.12 or earlier as it may be an issue introduced in the latest driver set but that is just a suggestion you can confirm on your end while we await GermInUSA's assessment.

I have tried all the drivers from 9.2 to 11.5 which is what I am at now. I've also reinstalled Windows 7 twice & reinstalled EQ2 three times at this point. I'm pretty much done with EQ2 until there is something else I can try because I'm crashing upwards of 20-25 times a day, average, and I'm not going to go through it any more.

edit: It's probably also worth noting that EQ2 is the only game crashing at all for me. All my steam games are working fine, I downloaded the Rift trial & no crashes there. I even loaded up WoW (brothers account tho) to see if I would crash & no, no crashing at all. Done memory tests, hardware testing... it's not an issue on my comp.

ive run the updaters and still have issues... i guess ill keep checking and see if there is a magic pill @ some point. just very very frustraiting when raiding to have the game lock up and crash during an encounter.
