File scan stops at 27% (char_d1.vpk)

<p>Everytime I launch the launchpad and when the automatic filescan is happening, it always stops at 27% when it's scanning the file char_d1.vpk.</p><p>Any idea how to fix this guys?</p><p>thanks.</p>

<p>Are you using the Station Launcher or the Full version of the LaunchPad available at <a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://launch.soe.com/eq2</a> ?</p><p>You can browse to your EQ2 folder, delete the char_d1.vpk in the PAK folder, and delete the LP_temp folder and restart your patcher.  That should force a redownload of that file which is having a problem being scanned which is more than likely caused by corruption in the file.</p><p>Also make sure you are launching the patcher as an admin by right-clicking the icon you use to start the game and selecting Run as Admin (For Win Vista/7)</p>
