I am expiercing some difficulty in patching.

When I try to log in to the game using the EQ2 patcher (not the station launcher as I detest that program), it analizes the files, then starts to dowloand and immediatly stops and says download cancelled. I am using winxp, so it shouldnt be a admin thing like with vista.

I don't know what to do, never had this issue before.

Then rerun the patcher and see if it goes through.

yep did that, from the log it is trying to decompress the downloaded file but errors out because the file has 0 size. It creates the file and downloads nothing, then tries to install it.

Just to clarify the *.tmp file has a "0" size on it.

It would appear that I was using an older version of the launchpad. I dowloaded the latest launcher and it fixed my issue.

Tried it, but did not work. I am using EQ2.exe to launch from. Not sure if that makes any difference. It is what I have always done. Back since EQ1... Have not tried EQ1 yet since I do not play it very often anymore.

However the cache deleting did nothing and I get the same error on the same file.

Thanks Bunji, I can now play again...
