"Operation timed out." when logging in

<p>Just came back from work and cant get into the game from my gaming machine or my laptop. Internet connection works fine otherwise. Just cant get into the game. SOE pages say all servers up.</p><p>Is the login server down or experiencing problems? :o</p>

<p>Get the same message. I was booted out while camping to char select and can't get back in. I had the same error a day ago, before Amnerys made sure it was fixed.</p>

<p>I was switching characters while ingame and I got the same error message, now when I try to relog into the game, I get a "Username and/or Password is incorrect" message from the Station Launcher which isnt the case. I think SoE is experiencing another login issue this morning.</p>

<p><div><p>The issues should be resolved now.  I do recommend closing the Launchpad entirely and restarting it before attempting to log in again.</p></div></p>

<p>I still get the "Operation timed out" when I use the older Launchpad.  When I use Launchpad 3 I get a "Creating entities..." being stuck until I lose connection from the server.  I'm using an VPN client because I can not connect through my university's internet.  Thanks.</p>

So I tried launching from the Everquest2.exe, and I get a 'Could not connect to login server'. <p>I've disabled my firewall and my AV software.  I can play RIFT and WoW just fine.  I don't see how EQ 2 is having issues by itself.</p>

We were both able to connect and play last night, so I'm unsure what's changed. I've checked my firewall and no issue there.</p><p>I can long onto DC online with no problems.</p><p>quick edit:</p><p>Finally working for me, I certainly didn't do anything my end.</p>

<p>Just started doing this to me too. I was in game and when I tried to camp to another character it told me password/username invalid and when i try to log in from the patcher I get Operation Timed Out</p>
