If you can hop over to the SWG forums, I can PM from there. I'm not sure why it's blocked here. I have 7 accounts are are receiving this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not handle the SWG forums unfortunately.

Doesn't look like you have an active EQ2 subscription and wont be able to send PM's here. Your option is to contact our support staff directly. The article below has our contact info.

[EQII] Contacting Support

Thanks, I knocked two off and I'll probably hit a third tonight and then I'll call it a night. If the automated system is working, I'll pick up the rest tomorrow after work. Thanks for your help!

I'm having this problem now. We have many accounts that we acquired through the RaF program for various thing like storage houses and the horses, multi-boxing and such. I'm going through the list trying to reset the passwords on all of our accounts and it's now giving me this message. I did not fail in attempts to enter in the password. I'm not locked out it worked just fine for my main account, which i did the first day the servers came back up, and the first 9 on the list I changed today, but now no matter which account I try i get this message. Most of these accounts aren't urgent but I hadn't gotten to my son's main account on the list so he's currently unable to log in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Congratulations, my sister (who had a RaF account) ran into this (among other issues) with the account support and she just bailed, great way to lose (possible) subscribers.

Most people aren't going to go through loads of effort to get an account (re)activated especially if the error messages are this vague.

there seems to be a problem with accounts created after the security breach but is still asking for updating our passwords. When attempting to log in, it just says "operation has timed out(older accounts work fine). Then you go to account page and it asks you to reset password. When you attempt to reset the password, you get this msg "we're sorry, we are unable to proceed. please restart the reset password flow to try again". Please try to fix this

We pushed a forced password change to every existing account.

What are you trying to log in to that is timing out? I just made a few new accounts and haven't been able to reproduce what you describe.

you probably have to call them. if you never set a "secret answer", the reset will not work. i had to call on a few accts bc of that. their number is around here... somewhere......... (sorry i dont know it & have been looking for it myself. its got to be on the site, somewhere.)
