I'm not sure if this is the right support forum, or if I should post to the LoN forums, but since it's EQ2 that's crashing I'll start here. Every time I go to launch Legends of Norrath from inside EQ2, it crashes the game. It used to crash the game once, but on a restart it would be alright. However, last night I crashed all three times I tried to check my free cards. The message is: Runtime Error Program D:gamesEverQuestIIEverQuest2.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact support. Help?

It doesn't appear to be just your issue. I too am crashed out of LoN within a few minutes of starting it up with the Stand-Alone and in-game clients.

I've reported this up and we'll see what we can find on our end. If I have any troubleshooting steps for you to try directly I will post it right here.

Thank you Joshua - I appreciate it. Granted, I'm just trying to check my free cards for loot, but still..

My error seemed to be fixed by downloading some optional updates that I was missing in windows. Not sure which one it was, but someone in the LoN forums made the suggestion and it's fixed it as far as I can tell.

I do apologize for not getting back to you. We did resolve a few issues that many players were experiencing along with identifying the update needed for your fix. It is included in Windows Updates but I'll include a direct link to it for anyone else experiencing similar issues.

[Microsoft VC++]
