I do apologize for the inconvenience. The file may have become corrupt while downloading. Let me know if you run in to any other issues getting in game.

I was happy to have the chance to log in today. I was quickly disappointed though. Whan I start the station launcher, and after the scan starts I get the following message: There was a problem decompressing the file E:program filesEverquest IIlp_tempLegendsOfNorrathLegendsOfNorrath.dll_delt a_10509_126.gz. Please try again. If the problem persists use the Help menu above for more info and help.

Station launcher will try again after 30 seconds.

After I get the above error the station launcher just cycles... getting the same message over and over again. Then the scan/update aborts. I tried deleting the file and then re run the station launcher but I get the same error message.

Delete the file LegendsOfNorrathLegendsOfNorrath.dll from your Everquest II game folder and re-run the patcher.

I do recommend making the transition to our Streaming or Full LaunchPad 3 when time allows. It will prompt a hefty re-download of the game files.

[EQII] LaunchPad

Delete the file it could not decompress in the paks folder (not lp_temp, though you can safely delete this whole folder as well). Same goes for any of these issues. It should come up with an error and display the file that needs deletion. Also everyone should run a full file scan.

Instructions for Successful Patch:

Run the Launcher as ADMIN (Right Click Option)

CANCEL the upadate.

Run a FULL FILE SCAN - (Station Launcher) Games (Menu at the Top) -> Game Preferences -> EverQuest II (Option on the Left Hand Side) -> Full File Scan (Button in the Middle of the Screen). - (EverQuest II Launcher) Options (Button at the Top) -> Clear Cache (Button down the Bottom).

Delete ANY files it cannot decompress from their directories (please see examples below).

If all else failes, reinstall the launcher and start again.

Possible locations for EverQuest II Installation (Hold WindowsLogo Key + R to Open These Locations Quickly):

32BIT Windows / X86 -

C:ProgramDataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II

C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II

C:Program FilesSonyInstalled GamesEverQuest II

C:Program FilesSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II

C:UsersPublicSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II

64BIT Windows / X64 -

C:ProgramDataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II

C:Program Files (x86)SonyEverQuest II

C:Program Files (x86)SonyInstalled GamesEverQuest II

C:Program Files (x86)Sony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II

C:UsersPublicSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II

Issues After Patch:

Make sure you've done a full file scan as described above.

If problems persist make sure your DirectX is up to date.
