I have NOT have a good EQ2 day. The rest of my day? Wonderful!

Come home, wanna play, main, won't zone in. Secondary, won't log in. Try a brand new toon I've just made, fine. Squeaked into live chat, guy moved my toons, I can log in, sorta. Fine, I can at least get to my toons.

On my main, zone to EW, booted to character select. Can't log back in, have to restart client. >.< Restart client, okay, I'm in. Go to zone into Outer Kael. Okay, that worked. Go to zone into Kael Drakkel, back to Character Select, and have to restart client. AGAIN. Happens again when trying to go to my guild's hall. To heck with this!

Go in, delete my cache files. All of it, gone to the recycle bin. Start it up all over again. Okay for a little bit, then boom, back to character select. Now it's saying Crushbone is down. Wait a minute, comes up, try to log in to my main and she doesn't exsist?! Fine, restart the client.

Get in, putter around, go to tour one of the new prestige houses to check it out. BOOM Character select, my toon is still logged in. Wait....wait....wait...My toon doesn't exsist. Hit the reset button.

Computer comes back up, log in, rockin it good. Go to all the prestige houses. Rockin. Standin in SQ, chattin with my guild, BAM character select. Character's logged in, logged in, doesn't exsist. >.<

Restart the client, I'm now sitting in my house, waiting for the boot.

I also cannot /camp <toon>. I have to restart the client to switch toons. Updated my UI even. What the heck is wrong?!

We did have a temporary outage a little before you made this post. I do want to make sure it is not related, so are the issues you were experiencing persisting today?

Also, which patcher are you using? Is it Station Launcher or the latest LaunchPad for Everquest II? I've included a link to the launchpad, but you do not need to install it yet (unless you choose to) until we figure out why you were having this problem.

This was from 5:57pm until the time of the post. So all evening. I'm not sure if it was my account, problems there, problems on my end. I'm using the streaming launcher for everquest 2. Although I do have the station launcher (LP2) installed, I use it mostly for talking to friends when I'm not in game. I don't use it to patch. The reference number from TSR Sean F. is 110428-001623. That's from me squeaking into live chat at 5:58.

So it isn't persisting, correct? The outage may be entirely at fault if that is the case and you should be in the clear. If its still happening we got our methods to find out whats going on, let me know.

Well, I was about to log in, I have the green play button on the streaming launcher, but it says I have 13.60 gigs of assets to update?? Very odd. Launching anyway, will let you know the result, don't have much time atm to do a full test.

I can, at the very least camp to the other toon I was having issues with. I will test zoning and such when I get home in a bit.

If you are certain the game is already downloaded/up to date, you may have multiple installation folders. I do recommend looking in to it and consolidating your additional game folders to avoid any confusion. 13.6gb sounds like a fresh install with no game files at all downloaded, at least thats what the patcher believes.

Now it's not doing it. *sighs* And it has the proper location that I specified when I originally installed it listed on the launcher. So apparently that's all good now. Ahhh, post patch issues are so fun! Joshua, I will do far more intensive testing when I get home from dropping off my roomie at work. I'll do a bunch of zoning, switching toons and the like to see if it still occurs, but since I wasn't able to camp to different toons last night (at least my two primary toons, didn't try others), I think it's fixed. However, I shall be thorough, and if it occurs I'll post here, along with my dxdiag, programs running in the background, and all needed (and possibly unnecessary) information. Thanks for getting to this post so quickly this morning!

EDIT: Also, last night I was getting hung at connecting to zone server, if those issues were resolved, then I should be good. Can you tell me if that's the case?

The widespread connectivity issues going around last evening were addressed but I can't say for certain thats what you were experiencing. If you have any trouble at all, I'm here for another 8 hours today to address your issues!

Well I've done a bunch of zoning to many of the places I had trouble with last night. Looks like the issue has been resolved. Thanks for your quick response this morning Joshua! It's greatly appreciated.
