Downloaded the launcher and proceeded to d/l EQ2 as normal.

Got it installed and goto login, and all my characters are gone and I'm starting "new".

On my older rig I can log into EQ2 as before, but this new install refuses to "take".

So where do we go to download the game? EQ2players or Launcher?

This is the 3rd try, and it's NOT fun redownloading 9GBs and now 11GBs.

Thisn is also happening to me. I installed DoV earlier today and resub'd. Was able to see characters for about an hour, then suddenly now when I log back in it is asking me to create character (ie none of my chars are available).

The EQ2player install worked, until relogging in again.

Have 3.88GB more to go to see if this d/l will work. If this doesn't work no point in resubbing (bill due on the 30th) since I can't even play my characters (let alone the ISP now has a 250GB d/l and u/l limit, and this is over 30GB. That doesn't include 4 other games I downloaded) -_-

There may have been an issue with our login servers but I can assure you none of our install methods reverts anything account related. What could happen is if the server your character is on is unavailable you may often not even see it appear on the list depending on where in the process we are as far as bringing the servers back online and so on.

What has worked in the past with issues like this that persist even when the servers return would be deleting your LoginCache and LoginCache-US folders (you may not have both, so delete the one you do have). These folders are responsible for caching your Character Select screen in game including pointing to the appropriate servers which may have changed in 'address' due to the patch. While this should update automatically, again, it is not immune to corruption or failing to update right when a server is brought back online, especially if you attempted to log in to it while it was still locked or offline.

Give it a try and let me know, or if the problems resolved themselves let me know as well!
