Oasis Server not able to connect

<p>I checked the server status page and it says Oasis server is up and running. But when I go to log in, it tries repeatedly to contact the login server, then tells me it may be busy and try again.</p><p>If the server is mostly down, please note that in the server status page (makes it much less frustrating). By mostly down I mean if 15% or less are able to log in, it is mostly down.</p><p>If the server is up, then please make it accessible to those of us trying to log in.</p><p>Thanks.</p>

<p>I am getting "Cannot find world Oasis" at nearly 3 PM PST. </p><p>It has had a green light on the server status page all day, even when most of the others were red.  Now the others are green also, and I still cannot connect.</p>

<p>Well Oasis finally came back up, was playing for about 30 mins or so. Decided to respec my AA's when all of a sudden i get kicked to character select. Now i cant log my swashbuckler in game, i just keep getting sent back to character select.</p>

<p>This is down right ridiculous...we wait for 9 hours (was only estimated at 3 hours down) to play and now people cant login or get kicked out and cant login, does SOE  test these things or not?  Was this update that important?  10 house for 1 toon!  And you ask people not to be upset.. we pay for a product to work and every up[date its something else..</p>

<p>Looking at general server data, everything appears good.  Population is high, DB latency is low.  I would probably need some specifics to go any further. </p><p>Are you experiencing any crashes, or just getting booted back to character select?  If just getting back to character select, can  you give me an exact time, character name and zone you were in when this occurred?  A few examples would be great.</p><p>Thanks!</p>

<p>Same thing on Permafrost. I actually finally managed to get into the game, but then when I tried to zone from Enchanted Lands to Thundering Steppes I got booted and can't get back in. My wife hasn't been successful in logging in at all.</p>

<p>I am on Crushbone and can not get in. Our group zoned into the tower and I went to character select. Can't get back in now and no idea if anyone else made it in there. Shadich is the character.</p>

<p>Glad to see I'm not the only one! My toons on Permafrost cannot zone without crashing to char select and then basically getting stuck there unless I completely restart the game. I restarted my modem and router hoping it was that but obviously it's not, nor a file scan issue. Unfortunately I can't do anything about the servers. :/</p><p>Just realized how vague that was: Roslyn couldn't load in about four times after patch, crashed to char select from SF to guildhall. Crashed again from GH to Gorowyn. Logged over to my toon Tendryl, crashed from DoV to GH. Was finally able to log back onto Roslyn, crashed from Gorowyn to trying to load Gorowyn house. Each time I crash to character select, it tells me the character is still in the world. I wait a little while, the first three times I generally don't load in and then maybe the fourth time I do - and generally outside of the zone I was attempting to enter (ie Gorowyn rather than the house.)</p>

<p>I am having the same issue on Crushbone.  I've been trying constantly for the past hour to log in with my brigand and I get booted back to character select every time I try, and my others characters I've been able to log in but when I try to zone I get booted to character select.</p>

<p>ok, I restarted the game and was able to zone in to the instance and find that I was the only one from the group to crash to character select.</p>

<p>I have been getting kicked to char select randomly all day on both accounts but not always at the same time but always while zoning,, sometimes to gh, sometimes to a house.</p><p>ten minutes ago I had both time out while zoning and when I tried to login again it says Guk is down.</p>

I either time out Connecting to zone server or get a message saying there's a server backlog.</p>

<p><strong>Was able to log in 2 characters that were camped in overland zones, but crashed when trying to zone back to GH. Cannot camp to any characters camped in a GH (so none of them now), Gets stuck on "Connecting to Zone Server" then goes back to character select.  Seems to be GH / housing server related mostly.</strong></p>

<p>On Nagafen I had a character pay upkeep and try to zone into home in NFP. Kicked me back out, made me pay upkeep again, but then everything was fine.</p><p>Permafrost I eventually got in on one character in Enchanted Lands, but crashed upon zoning to Thundering Steppes and have not been able to get in. Also can't login an alt in Greater Fay; I haven't even been able to try getting to a house on Permafrost.</p>

<p>Ok, the linkdead problems should be resolved now.  Some of the server hardware wasn't responding as normal which was overloading the other hardware.  All hardware should be functioning at 100% now and new instances should begin migrating to other hosts.</p><p>Thanks for hanging in there!</p>
