Having finally gotten the carp recipe to drop I am dismayed to see that the floret is notrade, meaning I cannot give one to the other toons on that account.

Same with the fireseed recipe for sages, I can comission the combine but toons on the account cannot have them.

Another thing, can the level 65 requirement to use the floret be removed? It ports you to a spot in front of the newbie housing in Kelethin, and with all the travel changes this isn't special anymore since the bell takes you very close to the spot anyway.

Definately time to rethink this one

/agree

I'd also like to see the recipes moved to a faction merchant or something. People don't really do these old zones much anymore so very little opportunity to buy them, and for people who are just crafters going back to farm them isn't really an option.

I would not mind seeing the recipes on the mara faction merchant and having the mats drop from a FSI event or the chest in a ts mission.

We already have raid loot mats from FSI's, so why not EH mats.

The only reason we have the recipes now is because we can one group the zone while mentored, but that is not an option for everybody so a faction option would be nice.

I agree with all of these ideas

Me too on agreeing with all of these ideas. I was able to get the carpenter one just because a guildy had it in bank from a very long time ago (he couldn't remember when he'd got the book lol). The recipes being on a raid zone that very few even do anymore is just bleh at this stage of the game.

At this point it's more about my crafters having complete recipe books more than actually making those items for anyone.

I wouldn't mind questing for the recipes/mats if that's the way it was designed so that crafters could get the books.

Noone in my guild wants to do this zone ever again. Most had done it years ago, before I was playing, and they seem to still have some disdain about ever heading back in there.

This should be in the release notes coming to test this week.

<span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: "Arial","sans-serif";">Koros Splinterlimb on the Isle of Mara has gotten in some new stock! He now sells recipes that were only previously found in The Emerald Halls. He has also gotten in some new Return to Mara trinkets that allow players with tradeskill level 20 and higher to use it.

Wow.

I actually have the floret recipe already. But, if I didn't, I'd be so in love with this idea that I'll just go ahead and be in love with it anyway!

Even when my guild raided things on Faydwer no one ever wanted to go there because it took so long (reminded them of Plane of Air raids in eq1 =)).

This is awesome As it happens, I finally got my carpenter book after ages of farming, but I'm still very happy that others (and other alts!) will be able to get the recipes.

By the way, is there any chance that the seeds and bark of growth could be made stackable? I have quite a collection from recipe farming and they're taking up a lot of inventory space.
