Two upgrade questions

<p>I am looking to upgrade my wifes computer, and have a question or two:</p><p>She has an Intel E4600, 2.4ghz Core2 Duo cpu, Radeon X1900XT 512mb video card, 4gb ram, standard hdd, etc. Would a CPU swap to a Pentium DC 3.2ghz CPU make much of a difference? They seem to have the same features as the older C2Ds. And would something like a Radeon 5570/5750 or a Geforce GTS(X) 440/450 1gb video card make any difference?</p><p>Secondly (thirdly?) Is there a way to save display settings in game? IE switch from a raid type extreme performance setting to a more detailed setting for other times. The only save thing I see is for keyboard layout. If there is no built in save feature, can display settings be changed via macro (multiple settings at once)?</p><p>Thank you.</p>
