My first character made back in 05...my ranger. was retired at lvl 70 just after EoF came out, which means hes been leveled mostly (pre lvl 61+ ) before AA existed and up to 70 with only limited AA available.

Thus he is now quite [Removed for Content].

However I want to level him to 80 to lock him and raid in a progression guild that is currently starting T8 and was wondering were to best apply my poor little 58AA until I can get more.

All suggested lines I see, assume you have way more AA and i wondered which I should go for first to get the best DPS bang for the buck while leveling to 80.

One the positive, other than a hand full quests in LP, EoF and forward is untouched territory for me so I can go back and do lots of quiests fairly quickly to get some AA.

Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated.

Best thing for you to do with that low AAs is get 8-4-10-1 in the Agi and Str lines of the the pred tree and then start getting the far right line of the ranger tree going. As you get more (I suggest chronomaging down and tearing through low level zones for the AA from named and exploration) finish the line in the ranger tree and go to the far left line, following the numbers that the high end trees are set up. For now, something like this: http://www.beetny.com/eq2aa/?g01d18...a184a1109@g5@14
