OK, RoK was a bad point lore wise for me, and I'm trying to work sumin out.

-Iono the Lifebringer had the Coelesense of Life which we recover from Kraytoc. He found out about the Coelesense from Tsesserina and had the players get it. That is why he was in Kunark. Right?

-The CoL was used by the void to create hosts?

-Why isn't Zek summoning his armies from Zek as meatsheilds at least to help him fight?

-Now is the void "gone for good" or do they still have a presense?

I believe that you are correct regarding Kraytoc's mission in Kunark.

I am unaware of the CoL being used by the Void. At least, I have never read anything that connects it to the void in the past.

I would assume that Zek isn't calling forth the Deathfist Orcs for the same reason he isn't calling all the other orcs in the world: they are just mortals and he doesn't need them. It would be a non-trivial task to transport all those thousands of orcs to Velious, find a place for them to live, feed them, and maintain their equipment. Why bother doing that when he has a sufficiently-massive army of extraplanar warriors ready to mobilize?

The Void isn't gone, it just isn't all that relevant anymore. The Void, and the beings living there, will probably never go away completely, but since the main driving forces behind the invasion of Norrath are now absent (Anashti-Sul and Theer) the denizens of the Void will likely set their sights on a new world. Probably one that is not aware of their existence, and will therefore be more easily infiltrated. They probably won't totally abandon Norrath, but I'm sure they will wait a long while before they mount another offensive. The Void is eternal, after all, and mortal memories fade with time...

The Void is an essential REQUIREMENT of the very existence of the universe itself. It has to exist, so it will never truly go away. However, the Shadowmen and the denizens from the Void who wish to destroy Norrath are no longer a threat to us.
