<p>I had to launch game from the normal EQ2 launcher and not station launcher, which is what I normally use. It will update a few files that station launcher doesn't and allow you in...(I'm just assuming ur using staion launcher as that was the same message I got)...Seems something's wrong with it</p>

<p>Same problem.  PQ in 20 minutes, would like to get my shards instead of having to wait an extra hour.</p><p>Then again, judging from past issues, they will blame something on my computer, and not acknowledge a problem on their side, like 10 minute zones or shutdowns.</p>

Still installing it can't vouche for it.</p>

I get the same message as everyone else posting here.</p><p>Actually I get as far as the opening splash screen in EQ2, so the game is launching... sort of. It never gets to character select.</p>

<p>Ran streaming client.  waited till it checked all preloaded assets.  Then it found a 40+ meg download.  Downloaded it.</p><p>Launched station launcher.  It found a 8+ meg download.  downloaded it. </p><p>Ran game.  Still same issues. </p><p>And no, I won't run the streaming client, even to test to see if I can log in.  It's a piece of junk and I refuse to have 10-1 hour zone log ins.</p>

<p>SKYNET HAS BECOME SELF-AWARE...IT WAS UNAVOIDABLE.</p><p>I tried the back-up key files, clear out said file, and let launchpad reinstall; just as TSRs commonly recommend.  Same problem afterwards.</p>

<p>I also can't access the game through Station Launcher.  Tried EQ2 launcher and I can get in.  But it has this annoying way of "downloading assets" when I zone and it's taking me about 20-40 minutes to zone.  I have clicked off the feature that downloads assets, but it still downloads them and makes the game unplayable either way.</p>

<p>Close the Station Launcher and repatch it.  It is working now.  I have been having this same issue since today's downtime and it just seems to have been fixed.</p>

<p>It seems that I got the old (blue-grey) launcher back even after I uninstalled it, and didn't realize that it wasn't any good anymore. Since I'd done the game update yesterday I figured it was updated but still looked the same... apparently that's not the case. After reinstalling the game again (link is in a comment above) the new (black) EQ2 launcher was on my desktop and now everything works just fine.</p>
