error code 1012

<p>Just have been trying to update after latest DT--shows a 326kb update--games downloads a few kb then stops and eventually gives an error code of 1012. What does that code mean?</p>

<p>Error 1012 is a security related error.  You may need to launch the game icon as an Admin by right-clicking the EQ2 icon and selecting run as admin.  I would also disable any antivirus or firewall  you may have in place.  Let me know if this gets you in to the game.</p>
