A couple of months ago I played about with EQ2 in 3d but without the proper glasses I didnt like it.

However now quite often when I log on, zone, or change back from low settings to high (after a raid) the Stereoscopic 3d turns itself back on, and then each time I have to press Alt O and set it off again.

I've tried saving my High settings with it turned off to a settings file and loading this after raiding, but then as soon as I zone it turns itself back on again.

Any idea how I can make it stay off please?

Could you browse to your game folder and right-click Properties on the eq2_recent.ini file? Is the read-only option checked? Make sure it is not checked. Also, always launch your launchpad as an admin by right-clicking the game icon and selecting Run as Admin. It sounds like the game is not allowed to save the configuration change to the file.
