---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm posting this as "IN TESTING" because of the recent change which requires a confirmation to unpack armor sets that you win from raids and the recent change caused some items to not be able to be unpacked and the situation that happened to me is explained below.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just to let people know, be careful if you loot the Gore-Imbued bracers right now in your raid. I got some on my wizard and they won't unpack for me. I've tried logging in and out various times and anything else I could think of. I petitioned a GM and he told me that I'd have to wait for a dev to put in a patch before I could use my bracers.

I don't understand what's so difficult about taking a few minutes of time for a GM to load the item, attune it to me and log my character out, and destroy the old packed version.

With the backlog of server performance issues, bug fixes, and other things that the developers have to deal with here, why should I have to possibly wait weeks in able to use an item that I looted from a raid zone?

I'm normally quiet and keep to myself but the response to my last 4 petitions in the past 2-3 months have basically been:

"We can't help you".. which is not true, considering that GMs have the capabilities to do just about anything to fix stuff for players, but they'd rather not have to be bothered.

Since when is the norm trying to get out of actually helping people instead of taking 2 or 3 minutes of your time to save a player days of going without something or being aggravated? I would think keeping your customers happy should be your priority since we're paying for a service and you're a part of that.

I'm not sure what's going on with the GM team here lately but it seems like they care less and less about helping the players and resolving issues and would rather not have to bother.

Maybe I just got some of the ones that are not as friendly or whatnot, I don't know but I'm kind of tired of things being broken and just being told to deal with it and wait. For all I know, the problem won't be patched for another month or more.

Mainly in the past, a year or two ago, GMs would fix almost anything and were very helpful and courteous, it's not like that anymore. I don't know if their management team doesn't like them to help players or what it is, but once again I find it strange that they are so unwilling to help in any way possible when something like this occurs.

I have met a few GMs that were extremely helpful, amusing, and friendly and even talked to one on a regular basis when they were around, so I certainly have no broad dislike of them at all. However, when people are paying for a service and your job is customer service, help your customers whenever possible instead of making a sense of unwillingness to help your default modus operandi.

I have tried to be polite in this message but nonetheless, I'm aggravated and tired of being told "there's nothing I can do" over and over like a broken record.

Regards,

-Seb

cout << "Thanks for helping";
