<p>oka so now people are gettin more than 100 por cent of critical chance coz its needed coz the mobs in DOV have critical mitigation gear so the DPSers and the TANKS need a higher cirtical chance so they can keep hittin criticals in the mob for 100 per cent of the time.... right ?</p><p>but what bout the healerS? why they would need more than 100 per cent critical chance if they aint dpsin the mobs in the raids or dungeons ? for my concept a healer would need 100 per cent crititcl chance so 100 per cent of ur heals hits in CRITICAL mode..... but if u aint dpsin why have more than 100 ? that extra critical chance aint add critical bonus right ? coz we have a special mod for this which s called CRITICAL BONUS.....</p><p>can someone explain this ?</p>

<p>The way this works in dov ( and i am not saying it's the best way but this is what we have anyway ) mobs and zones put a crit chance debuff on you. It doesn't matter what class you are, if you get a debuff on you that says 70% then you need 170% to overcome it. Simple as that. it has nothing to do with dpsing or healing, it's the same for everybody.</p>

<p>ow interesting...</p><p>coz so far people explained to me that we needed higher critical chance coz of the critical mitigation of the mobs... but i was like [Removed for Content]... why a healer would need it anyway...</p><p>now it makes a lot more of sense...</p>

<p>when you are in an instance for example, watch your detrimentals window, as soon as a mob engages you, you'll see a head like icon, hover over it and it will tell you how much your crit chance you're debuffed for.</p><p>I am not particularly crazy about this type of game "feature", but what it means is that they had no idea what to do since most ppl had 100% in everything so they thought, what the heck will make it so yuo ned 300% instead of 100%.</p><p>So , following the samel line, next expansion will probably require you to have 1000% of some randomly chosen stat. I think that really is a poor choice if making new content relevant when you have no lvl increase</p>
