<p>Tis a frightful tale I now bring to you but one I felt must be brought to light. So many unthinkingly spend merry days at year's end enjoying the seasonal festivities of Frostfell. When the year turns eyes turn from Frostfell and most give it no further thought until next the year's seasonal festivities begin anew. Recently I learned the true horror that is Frostfell Valley in the off season. Come with me as I take you on a little trek.</p><p>While out visiting friends one day I came across an oddity. A close friend not only didn't answer his door but I found the door slightly ajar. Concern prompted me to enter and in the back of his front hall the air itself was rent with a portal to some other place. Wondering if perhaps my friend was on the other side I decided to take a quick look around the other side.</p><p>Stepping through I was greeted with this odd site. </p><p><a href="http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/?action=view¤t=1_entry.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/1_entry.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>Apparently this rift came out inside a small but tidy cabin. No one appeared home. Wondering why this portal would exist linking my friend's home with this cabin I had never seen I thought to look around some more.</p><p><a href="http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/?action=view¤t=2_exit.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/2_exit.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>Aha! I spied an exit. Perhaps the owner or my friend was nearby!</p><p><a href="http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/?action=view¤t=3_noexit.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/3_noexit.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>Alas, the exit was entirely blocked by an avalanche. No help there.Perhaps if I looked around some more I could find a better clue.</p><p><a href="http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/?action=view¤t=4_clue.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/4_clue.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>Just next to the door I spied a journal. Certainly that should shed some light on where I was or at least who owned the house I now stood in. It opened easily to a section about halfway through...</p><p><a href="http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/?action=view¤t=5_book1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/5_book1.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p><a href="http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/?action=view¤t=6_book2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/6_book2.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p><a href="http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/?action=view¤t=7_book3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/7_book3.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>So I must be in Frostfell Valley and this was not the happy place I, like everyone else, thought it was!</p><p>Suddenly from behind me I heard screams just as mentioned in the journal...I recalled seeing a window and a chill ran down my spine as I hurried to it and surveyed the horror of Frostfell Valley in the off-season:</p><p><a href="http://s11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/?action=view¤t=8_horror.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a153/teircen/Frostfell%20Horror/8_horror.jpg" border="0" /></a></p><p>Sure enough, there was Santa Glug driving his sleigh and bowling goblins askew left and right as dismayed snowfolk looked on in horrow. Several goblins went flying through the air even as one made a break for it attempting in vain to find safety.</p><p>Santa Glug must have seen me move in the window for he glanced my way.His feral eyes glowed with a mad red inner light and I saw a malicious grin spread on his face as he turned his sleigh in my direction.</p><p>I wasted no time in hopping back through the portal and moving well clear of the rift lest Santa Glug actually find me.</p><p>I haven't been back to my friend's house since. I hope he's ok but I really don't want to be seen there. I wouldn't want to end up on Glug's "naughty list" this year. Who knows what would happen.</p>
