I hear alot of people complaining about dps this tier and the death of the melee cleric.

Exactly how much dps would you consider viable? 30k? 60k?

I am personally doing 35k-60k (depending on: number of adds; how encounter dies; if i have to heal more than once every 6 seconds) with no adornments. its all about the adornments. go to any dps class and look at what they are talking about for adornments get those and dps the pants off the people who u beat while bidding on said adornment.

bane of the kromzek is the best "traditional" proc adornment can be placed on multiple items with red adornment slots

dont forget about rune of blasting for ranged and your 2h

oh and there are two priest 2h's now that i have found one from quest x2 in tofs and one in a zone with new loot table.

what dps are you guys doing?

Gear: Post-upgrades, mostly easy mode DoV raid gear with some old SF stuff still lingering in a few slots. No hard mode gear, yet. Using the 2-hander from the x2 quest.

Group: Bruiser, Assassin, Ranger, Dirge, Illusionist

For some perspective, the Predators in the group each more than tripled my parse, and the Bruiser did about double my DPS

My best parse to date is 68,837 in HOL x4. That is in a pure caster group with the illy giving IA to the troub. Id love to see what I could do in the group build listed above. Using a 4 pieces of EM gear, hammer off taaltak, neck from tofs x2 and the rest is SF t2/t3 .

Hi guys, I'm curious on how you do achieve those numbers in a parse. Seeing the parse from Quabi, having his invocation strike doing 30K + is kind of 2-3 times what I generally get from it.

I'm sitting at 287 AA, mostly PQ high quality Legendary gear, pvp 2H hammer with some jewellery from both SF and DOV at the moment and still working on some of the AA that increase CA damage (including the one in Heroic tree).

I'm currently parsing at around 20K for easy single target fights and generally more around 10-12K for more intense fights where I need to heal more.

I do not raid and I usually group with some guildies and we are starting easy DOV instances. Is there anything that is "reacheable" for me in heroic group content (quests or instances) that would improve my parse or would be considered as a must have for an inquisitor in DOV?

It would be nice of you to share what is your current AA setup and your basic stats at this moment. ie, potency, crit bonus...

Regards, Gonzai, Nagafen

As others have said, the best DPS is only available in a raid setting.

I find that in general, we Inquisitors have the highest DPS of the healers. Our raid's shamans occasionally beat me but only if they're in a group with me or another Inquisitor and thus getting our DPS assistance (as well as never having to cure).

In full EM with some HM x4 gear, I usually pull 25-45k DPS when grouped with just a Paladin and a Wizard. I don't have the anti-undead line because I'm too lazy to make a spec for one zone.In raids, I tend to parse 50-95k dps, depending on the fight and how much I can do. Average is more like 60k. For reference, I'm also the MT healer so I'm sure if I didn't have to push any heal buttons I could eke things up a little higher.
