I'm assuming you went over the KB article troubleshooting voice chat, correct?

What do you use in the way of anti-virus or internet security? You might need to further configure exceptions to anything you have for the vivox voice chat service and everquest2.exe itself.

Fast reply, thanks to that.

I use MS Essential and Avira as antivirus, the standard MS Firewall, plus FW from Router, which i configured for port forwarding, regarding to the KB entry.

Well, what i did not do, was the VoIP test... could that help to fix the problem?

Anyhow, why the Vociechat get switched to digitalout? <- courius about this most

Voice chat is dependant on the in/out device you set in the Voice chat options. If it's defaulting to the wrong device, just change it. Do you have any issues with any other settings not saving, even non-voice related settings?

If i do change the output to soundblaster xifi analog, it´ll be as quiet as before

Well.... at least the testpage, says Firewall Found oO

I'd go through the list of all of your security software and turn them all off. Try it out and see if it then works for you. From that point, start enabling them 1 at a time until it breaks again. Pinpoint the problematic security feature and get rid of it or do the necessary configurations for it to get it to work.

I did tryed several things yesterday, including updating the firmware of my router.

It works just fine, but i report later on when the raid is over.

The main problem for me is, that the problems do come without any warning.... what i mean:

On one day, i can play with a couple of clients on one machine, with voice and TS3 without problem. The other day, i didnt do anything to my system, i hardly can play with one client

I do monitor all tempratures of the system, all are real good

Sorry for late answer... well, didn´t worked well, but finaly could track down the problem, where i don´t have a clue on how to solve it

First, the voip client itselfs runs smooth without interruption, till i turn on TS3.

But step by step:

If i launch ts3 first, the voip client doesnt work at all. If i launch the voip (EQ2) first, the mirkophon can´t operat at TS3.

As a result, i try to choose at the voip setup, to set the input myself, without any change in working.

I do mean, i have changed barely everything at my system, without any results...

Soundcarddrivers, uptodate, EQ2, i guess so... i´m using a soundblaser xifi titanium.

I even don´t find a hint, in the ts3 forum.

Hope there are any hints left for me

Kindly Regards,

Kalderon

When you setup your router did you go over the whole KB article on the configurations needed? I would also look in to a possible router firmware update available from the manufacturer.

[EQII] Voice Chat FAQ

Hello,

well, when i only have eq2 voice up, i haven´t any problems thats the good news... sadly, if i start ts3.

1. only voice or ts3 works.

2. if both works my game will freez and my connection from ts3 server will be reset.

If i start eq2 first and then ts3, my microphone will be unavailable

If i would only use one of both, all be fine, but i need voice for raidlead prupose

The reason I bring up the KB article is because it contains port forwarding information you may need to configure in your router. It sounds like TS3 may use the same ports for service.

Hello and thanks for the help,

actualy, it was the ts3 client which frozen my system. Right now, i just want to share the info i gather.

What i did is. I just installed the RC1 (Beta) client from TS3 and there are just a little lags (1-2 seks) but no crashes.

If anyone else get this problem might find this helpfull.

Got to the directory where you´re TS3 is installed and the file Update.exe is placed.

Make new file, called update.ini <- fill in with

[Channel]beta=true

Start TS3 and get the RC1 beta client (didnt crashed this far and i can connect as normal to the server! It even sounds better then the old client).

Kindly Regards,

Kalderon
