I have just freshly reformatted (deleted all partitions too), EQ2 being the first thing I installed after Trend Micro Internet Security/Malwarebytes/Firefox/Adblock Plus+ NoScript. I did a scan after patching EQ2 and Trend found the TROJ_SPNR.03CI11 trojan supposedly attached to the EQ2 exe file.

Has anyone else gotten this message? I just got rid of Norton Internet Security because it was running pretty bloated (as Norton will do), and replaced it with this new Trend Micro Internet Security.

I hope my 80 bucks for the 3-user wasn't better served being thrown into the trash can here.

Never heard of Trend Micro but that's not surprising since I don't put any stock in any sort of anti-virus software.

I'm not sure what your question is though, there's obviously no trojans attached to EQ2.

Don't put too much stock into antivirus software. A few months back I did a clean install and ran one right-a-way and it picked up on something. I reported it to the development team on their site and they did get back to me that it was indeed a false positive.

Just be careful is all.

I can assure you EQ2 is not a trojan

Seems to be a false positive.

Does updating your definitions stop the warning?
