I think it might be time to look at the Revived Sickness penalties again. 20% to attributes for years was basically a non issue, it didn't mean anything. Now? That costs me 6k hit points, which means you are probably going to eat dirt again. Not to mention the larger impact on dps.

Why not ask your favorite dirge to remove the sickness or why not get a rez that does not come with the sickness?

So the penalty for dieing should be higher when you have better gear?

its no different now, then it was any other expansion.

6k HP loss when you have 40k HP, is no different then a 2k loss when you had 15k hp.

its proportional to the amount of HP you have, because the number appears bigger, doesnt mean anything, as your HP pool is also alot larger now then in pervious expansions.

I think it should be noted, that in past expansions if you had really good gear, you were so far over the STA cap that the percentage based HP you lost from revived sickness wasn't that significant, where in DoV with the game changes, getting up with revived sickness can often result in near instant death on many fights, where in the past this wasn't as big of a problem.

The revive sickness penalty wasn't that large. They even went so far to multiple times lessen the impact of dieing with things like leaving buffs so you don't have to recast them.

There is already a penalty in place for zerging, you can't attack if you revive.

There is already a penalty for too many deaths on most mobs, they literally become inkillable and destroy you after full healing.

Why should the revive sickness penalty be so harsh? Why should I get penalized more by a mob after getting his loot?
