No access to PQ chest

<p>It started with my Necro.  I did Storm Gorge, and wasn't grouped.....I know I contributed because I died twice, and in the end, even though my quest updated, and I got "The Coldain have left you a gift...." I got the "you don't have access...." message when I went to loot the chest.</p><p>Another time I got the loot window, picked out a helm, then poof, when I clicked the button, it was gone, and again I got the "you don't have access" and there was no helm in my inventory.</p><p>Another time, I couldn't see a chest at all..</p><p>So today I am in a raid group, and I know I did damage, I was on my wizard, but again, I got the message that I didn't have access.  I know I contributed, I did damage, but nothing.  And when I ask others, they just complain how they don't have the BP.....</p><p>Every time this happens it is to one of my casters.  Am I the only one having this issue?  I put in bug reports, but it seems there is nothing else I can do.  Plenty of people are complaining about how "random" the loot drops are, and I understand that it can't be too easy, however, out of three characters, I have a weapon, and two runes.....and the lack of access to loot when I KNOW I participated is starting to get very old.  Is this intended?  Is it a bug?  Is it going to get fixed? </p><p>I cringe every time I go to start a PQ, just knowing I am likely to get nothing, when I get crap loot, I try telling myself it is better than nothing, and I know how bad that feels....but seriously.</p>

<p>Are you running ACT? If so, click the "All" row for the fight, then drill down under your name (doubleclick it), then drill down into "All Outgoing". Post that screenshot, it may help us see the issue.</p>

<p>I had this happen to me last night. I was there for the entire fight and even got the quest completion message/xp for the public quest, but when I went to loot the chest, "You don't have access". Not the end of the world, but still a fair bit lame.</p>

<p>According to an employee of SOE parsing in the top ten in damage of an x4 may not be enough to even get a chest.</p>

<p>Were you actively fighting the whole time? Not just one or two hits every now and then? I know they recently changed the requirements for 'participation' to be more strict and to help cut down on the afker's... If you were not actively fighting the whole time, that may be why you were not eligible to recieve a cache...</p>

<p>I just did a Storm Gorge PQ. I died 4 times, the difficulty was decreased twice and I crashed once during the PQ due to our beloved servers.</p><p>And when the metal chest popped I was told that I was "too busy to loot". That message didn't go away, so I was not able to loot the chest.</p><p>I tried porting to the guild hall and getting back to Storm Gorge but when I arrived at the battle location the chest was gone.</p><p>Yeah, thanks for that, SOE.</p>

<p>I had it happen to me i died in the storm gorge and the wonderful server took like 5 minutes to revive and came up after the last rider of rime was down and i wasn't entitled.... sent a /bug never heard anything back</p>

<p>I did plenty of damage and certainly didn't hit a spell or two and then /afk. I was there from the entire event, killed recruits and got back in time to kill a couple of the High Priest wave mobs and then help burn down Naradini. Cycled spells the entire time he was alive, including multiple casts of Fiery Blast with Fusion/Ice Comet/Blast of Devestation in it. I'm certainly not the best geared wizard in the game, but I'm far from the worst. Level 90/277AA. If the problem was that I did not cause enough damage, then there are serious issues with what the quest considers the minimum.</p>

Working as intended I guess.</p></blockquote><p>I think these rare occassions where somebody gets no chest is due to the lag problems.  Myself, I've been doing these PQ's for 3 weeks now and the only time I missed a reward was when I crashed to desktop mid fight and when I came back, it put me in a new instance and I didn't get a reward.</p><p>Also, it seems to me that the anti-slacking code doesn't just deny you the chest.  I think it more likely knocks you down a notch on the reward hierarchy.  A couple of times when i came late to a PQ and missed the first phase, I still got a chest, but it was a crappy pulsating one with no armor.  And yet, a couple of days ago, I came late to a RW and started in right when the final assault was up and I still got a dominant weapon.   RNG ftw! /lol</p>

<p>I have had this on several occasions and its increasing, today had it happen on 2 sg pq's the rw in the middle was fine, dont seem to relate to how much damage you do or which way it is delivered.</p>

<p>this is a serious issue and needs to be addressed by soe. i spent a half hour trying to help in storm gorge. fighting the whole time and at the end......i am not entitled to anything in the chest. that is just wrong. really has me soured on the pq  atm.</p>

<p>Did they make some change today?  I haven't had a bit of problem on my monk (solo, group, raid) until this afternoon.  When I did SG, I was solo.  I died like 4 times in a row due to Gore.  My equipment was at 40% so I decided to just range attack.  Got the message "You are not entitled to chest."  I thought that was odd, but just figured I did too little damage.  I just did RW, was active through the whole fight (solo again), didn't die, and got the same message again.</p><p>I really wish they would quit dicking around with the "AFK code".  It causes more problems than it fixes.</p>

We were questing with our 88 berserker and 88 fury, and said HEY theres the SG PQ!! we ran up, and all that was left was Lord A. and The big bad guy.. My wife healed the pooo out of me, and i died 3 times.. we both got chests. She got an exquisit with an armor piece, and i got a chest with no armor piece so i took the AA meter... we didnt think we would get anything arriving so late, but we did... so NO you dont have to be there for the whole fight...</p><p>edit for spelling</p>

<p>I did over 35 of these before giving up (on my Assassin), I rarely lag on this PC but just to be safe I made a PQ graphics profile to ensure I see as little lag as possible.</p><p>I DPS'd my little Ratongan heiny off, ACT showed nice numbers every time yet not one fabled ever dropped for me. I see little point in doing this over and over again it is seriously frustrating, instances drop Fabled items far more frequently so the PQ's are now just something I see people talking about in chat and here on the forums.</p><p>PQ's = Good Idea</p><p>Implementation = SOE as usual</p>

<p>There's definitely something under the hood that's not right. Personally, I've done PQs a hundred times with a SK, Monk and Dirge and have always been rewarded with the appropriate chest. However, I've grouped with at least a dozen people over these last months that I've witnessed participating from start to finish that didn't receive anything.</p><p>The worst time was on an undermanned SG run where we finally wiped and got demoted down after a 35 minute struggle. Four people didn't get their rewards that day. I can guarantee you that those people were there contributing from start to finish - one of them was in my group, right next to me the whole time.</p><p>Also, to those still toting the company line here, the "slacker" code reduces your reward for not fully participating. It's happened to me before when I didn't show up in time to catch the start of the PQ. You should still get a lesser version of the chest. I've shown up just in time to help kill the final boss before and I've still gotten a chest. It was the crappiest chest! But it was still there. We're talking about people getting zippo, nada, zilch, and they were there the whole time.</p>

<p>Did a bunch of damage, died, did more damage.  I've now got the message "Loot the treasure chest" and no chest to loot.  Servers are going down.</p><p>This is annoying.</p>

<p>Happened to a friend of mine too, was playing a Illy. He was doing damage, died a few times. And at end told him to loot, he looted as it showed on my side that he got his cache and his pouch, yet he didnt get anything, it all of a sudden said he wasnt entitled? Nothing appeared in his inventory, yet on MY side it clearly said he looted something, and nothing appeared in our guild log either for him looting, do they intend to fix this?</p>
