Cant launch the game!!

<p>I've recently got a new computer with windows 7 64bit and have installed eq2. I was palying fine for a few days but then suddenly today i got this message when trying to update and cant get into the game even directly from the .exe file:</p><p><img src="http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/6497/eq2error.jpg" width="468" height="475" /></p><p>I've re-installed station launcher with no luck; I've tried also downloading that new EQ2 launcher that the Devs keep going on about but that just wanted me to install the whole game again - it would not let me put it into the same directory where EQ2 is currently installed!</p><p>Please help! <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">And yes I AM running as administrator!!</span></strong></p>

<p>You can delete the LP_temp file that is causing the issue to force it to re-download it in case it was a corrupt or failed download.  However, from there the only suggestion I can make is to make the transition to our latest game specific EQ2 LaunchPad which you can download below.  It will request the folder UsersPublic for installation.  You can simply copy your old folder there as well once you've installed the LaunchPad.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p><p>I suggest the streaming method.  The full method is the same launchpad but it will download the entire game first before you can play.</p>

<p>Thanks for that advice, i uninstalled the whoel thing and just started from scratch with the default eq2 launcher. However now i get THIS message when trying to load up the game:</p><p><img src="http://img862.imageshack.us/img862/5267/errorl.jpg" /></p>

<p>Are you launching the Everquest2.exe directly?  That would produce such an error.  You must use the LaunchPad.exe</p>

<p>I was using the EQ2 launcher yes.</p><p>A guildie has told me to run the patcher from the US version, which i have now done and it works fine now! So there is something wrong with EU version not downloading the full amount of files, or corrupt files, which you guys should look into, but thanks for the help.</p>
