Rather than replying again to some other threads, as I'm not 100% positive it's the same issue, I decided I'd just make a post about my problem with my framerate dropping to a rate that just cripples my system. It stems from a graphic bug where the rendering of another player is creating polygons that generally connect to my character's head. If you are far enough away, the polygons are stretched to where you actually don't see them, but the frame rate is still crippled unless I'm just so far that my system no longer renders that person. Here is [Removed for Content] I took the other day in extreme performance that shows what I'm talking about:

Now what I have to do to fix this when this happens is reset my soga models (type /soga_models 0 is the fastest way). But it's not a soga issue, because soga models are always off for me, it's just that making the client render the models again fixes the problem at that point. And it can still happen again, in which case I have to again force the client to rerender the models to fix.

It seems to be related to griffon's because it seems to start happening when someone is on a griffon (the person in the ss had dismounted one shortly before I took it). I only ever have this problem in PQ's when there is a crowd, as I've never seen this ever happen in a normal instance raid.

This is a problem I've seen long ago on a different system (like before the Deserts of Flame expansion), but I haven't seen it since until this expansion. Here's [Removed for Content] I posted earlier that shows the exact same problem, it's just dated years ago:

I had something similar happen when I used the 3.0 graphics thing. It wasn't with characters though, it was textures...
