Earlier in the day they states downtime would be the usual 7AM PDT but suddenly the moved it to 2PM PDT

But the real problem is SOE's inability to keep their server status page UP TO DATE -

They either do not care, have insufficient employees to update it, or don't care about the the players and the community -either way that page is EPIC FAIL.

The length of the downtime has no meaning either - has SOE brings up the servers whenever they feel like it and never bother to inform the community - I suspect they enjoy watching players try to login and fail.

The head of EQ2 needs to spend some timeon community relations like ensuring that the server status page is actually updated and kept current.

You know people...you can click the "More Details" link on the right side of the server status page to show the schedule down times. If you want to know what is going on, look there, and not the so-called "current" status light indicators.

I don't trust the lights or the launcher. They've been horribly broken far too long for that. It still said 7 AM when I looked. It's been fixed since, but please don't assume the details section is always correct either.

Your concerns are absolutely valid but the technical support forum is not the place for them. I would suggest posting this on the website discussion subforum at http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...m?forum_id=2599

The site itself obviously doesn't.
