Ok, so I just started with EQ2: Extended to just try it out. I like the gameplay and the world, but I am not liking my framerate. I can run WoW above average, but this game just is choppy to the point where it is a problem, especially with combat. Is there anything I can do?? I have a Sony Vaio VGN-N395E laptop, Specs are:

RAM: 3 gb

Processor: 2.0 ghz dual core processor

GPU: Intel 950 GMA (not great, but should still be able to handle it)

I have even changed settings in-game to EXTREME PERFORMANCE, which should make my fps ALOT better, it just doesn't and even though its "playable", its not "enjoyable". So again, if there is some trick I can do, like a Gamebooster or maybe even a good set up in the options, just let me know.

You may need to further fine tune your display options by using the Advanced button on the top right of the options menu.

What I would suggest is turning off shadows and bringing the complex shader distance all the way down. While your video card is capable of playing EQ2, we place the recommended specifications around the Nvidia 8800 GTS and equivalents with at least 512mb of video memory.

You will just need to go over your display options and find the most operable settings for your setup. There is much more tuning that can be done through the advanced options even at the extreme performance preset.

I put all the settings to minimal, little improvement. Apparently there is no hardware T&L.... is that is?
