problem finishing download from launcher

<p>While trying to install EQ2 from the launchpad for my kid on his new computer I get to the end then I get the Fail:</p><p>There is a problem comfirming the size of the file C:ProgramDataSoney OnlineEntertainmentInstalled GamesEverquestIIlp_tempUIDefaulteq2uinewcharscene2 .xml</p><p>Running Vista have the program running as Admin and have tryed it running as XP with service pack 2 but still have the problem.</p><p>I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game 2 times and it hangs up at the same spot.</p>

<p>This is the same problem I am having. Only I have the latest windows 7.   Any help here?</p>

<p>You can delete the file to force the Station Launcher to re-download it as it may be corrupt, however this does not always solve the issue.</p><p>In regards to Station Launcher specifically, our support is limited as we are in the process of phasing it out and transitioning customers to our Everquest II LaunchPad.  You can download that using the link below.  I would suggest a fresh install and download but you can use your existing EQ2 folder as well.  Conversions and updates will still occur.  If your existing EQ2 game folder is located in the ProgramData folder,  I would also suggest you move that out to a non-protected location such as C:UsersPublic where the LaunchPad recommends.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2 " target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p>
