After about a 6 month hiatus from EQ2 I decided to play it some more. So I reactivated my account and fired up the launcher as usual. After the sizable update, I was able to get into the game ok, and began playing. First thing I did was zone back to my guild hall, but during the zone loading process, it got up to "Waiting for Entities" and just stopped. After about 1.5-2 mins, I was kicked to character sheet, and I get the same result any time I try to log back in with that, or another character who I also tried to go to the guild hall with.

I have a third low level toon in FrostFang Sea, who I can log in as and run around. but am unable to zone anywhere else. I either get to the same "waiting for entities" then CS when I try and zone, or sometimes I only get to "waiting for zone server" and it kicks me to CS after about 5 seconds. When it does log me into Frostfang sea, it loads quickly and as expected.

Needless to say I've never had this issue before.

So.. things I've tried so far,

Remove custom UI's

Remove UI dir and update

Remove Cache dir and update,

remove any server or characted specific files and update,

Reboot modem and router,

Forward the varios EQ2 ports directly to my PC, (tho this should make no difference and is in theory unnecessary)

Reboot PC (because someone would ask if I have)

All software firewalls disabled, All drivers updated. I also can't find any reference to "waiting for entities" on this forum.

PC and Network config

PC

Asus P7P55D-E Pro

Intel Core i7 860

Nvidia GTX 465 SLI

4x2GB DDR3 1333 Transcend

3x OCZ Vertex 2 60GB (Raid 0)

Soundblaster Audigy SE sound card.

Network Config

Netgear WNDR3700 running DD-WRT

Draytek Vigor 120 ADSL modem Bridged with netgear

3Com 8port Gigabit Switch.

ADSL Interleaving off.

This has been a solid PC and network setup for the last 6 months at least, and I've had no stability issues with anything.

No issues with any NAT in the past.
