Can't even charm trash mobs in overland areas now? Are you kidding me.

<p>Why does a Coercer even have a charm spell anymore? First you took away our ability to charm in raid zones, then group instances, then named mobs everywhere and now trash mobs. Went to charm a shardworm and looky there, the dreaded "Won't work on target".</p><p>I don't know why the Coercer class is hated so much by the developers, but it's time to really decide if the class should even be around anymore. Crowd control is gone now so do it! Pull the trigger and finally end the charade that is the Coercer. Being a wizard lite with buffs is not what many of us signed up for years ago when we made our Coercers. It's why I retired mine but thought it would still be nice to have the flying chicken mount. Stupid me...back to retirement, guess he didn't need to fly around anyway.</p><p>Post isn't in the "Never read" section of the forums known as the Coercer forums. Why would I post in a forum section that obviously hasn't been read by developers for years.</p>

<p>I have to agree it is real annoying especially on solo mobs. I used to be do some self crowd control if I happened to get an extra wanderer while soloing now it truly hit or miss. It also used to be a nice tactic if you just wanted a little extra dps for a fight if you used a short term charm while soloing.</p>

<p>They need to balance the "fun" playing the game with their list of everything must be systematic and work this way and that way.</p><p>When you remove what someone is finding fun about the game for the sake of making it more like a work/business...then you gradually lose more and more people playing the game. </p><p>Coercers find it fun charming mobs to follow them around and attack things.   Please don't take away the fun and just leave the one thing to do that helps a group  (Providing power to group members).  That leads to boredom.</p><p>Nobody enjoys being a one trick pony.</p>
