Application Ran out of memory before started

<p>The first time it happened i shrugged it off and rebooted, then it happened again so i started checking system resources to make sure i didn't have a bad stick of ram and all seems to be ok, loaded up a system resource monitor im using about 25% of 3 GB ram yet when i boot up the game is saying i only have 40 Mb available any help ?</p>
