I was looking around and can't find any other problems like mine.

Whenever I entr a Public Quest area the quest pops up in my journal and helper like normal but no timer is visable. I see the spot where it should be not no red clock is there.

It used to be there before but now it's not. I think I had to change my computer's time so that may have messed it up.

Anyone have an idea how to fix it?

Are you using any custom UI mods? My particular custom UI had the same issue until I ran the updater. While this may not be the cause of your issue, it's worth looking in to before we proceed with any other steps.

Nope.. just the regular UI.

I just now addede the melee and ranged attack bar but that't is. And the timer was missing before and after I added that.

Let's make sure no rogue UI modifications made it's way in.

You may want to make backups and then delete the following files and folders:cache foldereq2_recent.inieq2_default.iniEverQuest2.exee q2.iniAs well as the character specific files, these will appear as such:Servername_CharacterName_EQ2_uisettings.iniSt ationname_characters.iniTo do this, please follow these directions:1. First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the default directory in (for Windows XP): C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II (for Windows Vista/7): C:Program DataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II2. Click on MY COMPUTER and then proceed into local disk C:3. Navigate your way to the default directory, or your chosen installation directory.4. Next look for any files explained above and delete them. 5. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher. If deleting these files does not resolve your issue, you can restore your backed up files and folders and retain your hotkeys, contact lists, and display settings

How about this...

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it.

Still, no clock..

Is there another clock in a quest I can check out? Maybe it's just the PQ clock not showing up. After the update today, I'll go check a rush order crafting quest.
