So that I can more quickly change mounts I drag my mounts from the mount page to a toolbar and then right click and select equip to pick the one most useful to me at the time: pack unicorn for harvesting, wolf for fighting and gryphon for general travel.

This works for switching from one ground mount to another or from a ground one to the gryphon, but if the gryphon is equipped and I try to equip one of the others this way it seems to try to put it in the appearance slot and then fails because I can't use a ground mount as appearance for a flying one. I have to open the mount page and equip it from there.

I don't think I quite understand how you're doing it, but here's what I do:

I keep my regular "ground/uber stat mount" that I picked up in SF as my equipped mount in my mount window, and hotkey my "summon mount" ability. I also remove my flying mount from the mount window and actually put it in my inventory, and then drag it from my inventory to my hotbar. This allows me to quickly change between them.

My controls:To summon my regular mount, I click Summon Mount. To dismiss my regular mount, I click Summon Mount. To summon my flying mount, I click my flying mount item icon.To dismiss my flying mount, I click Summon Mount.

Hope this helps. (if you were needing it)

In general, I think they need to separate the flying and ground mount summoning functions and slots that are on the mount page. To achieve this streamlined way I have done it, I have to drag a mount out of its intended space, so that tells you that improvements to the interface in this area are needed.

I don't know why I didn't think to do that with the flying mount It is a viable work around thanks.

Now what I have is a mix of my method (to switch between different ground mounts) and yours (to select the flying one).

I do agree that the system is a bit clunky to say the least - the mount page is great for saving inventory but we need a better method to select which of the mounts we want to use at any particular time.
