Block Chance VS Uncontested Block?

<p>Can someone out there explain the differences between these two?  If i'm not mistaken uncontested block only takes into account the mobs lvl and not its difficulty.  I'm not sure what block chance does.  Any info is appreciated!</p>

<p>Block Chance (not the +block chance on gear, but the end result of protection with +block chance) is one of the sources for unconstested avoidance. Extra parry chance, extra dodge chance and extra riposte chance also give uncontested avoidance. For some reason they don't show up at the unconsted line when you mouse over your avoidance though.</p><p>All forms of uncontested avoidance are affected by level differences. They are just not affected by the opponents weapon skills and accuracy, unlike contested avoidance.</p>
