Okay I don't know if it's just me or not, but since Velious has come out the lag in game is so bad that even soloing in certain areas becomes almost unplayable, and forget a raid...OMG! Sony...you need to fix this and fast, it's taking a lot of the fun out of playing and making it a very frustrating experience!

Misschifz

I am on Vox and the only lag we have experienced so far is with the Public Quests, at least for me, and I am running my system on Extreme Graphics. Everything else so far has been pretty smooth.

the lag when you have 35 on a public quest is HORRIBLE you cast a spell wait 10 - 30 seconds it may cast, get aggro by the time you realize it your dead then it takes 3 minutes to rez.

Lag, in general, is something that is an ongoing focus for development. I assure you that all necessary steps to improve every aspect of the server side is a project that never ends. However, lag is not always entirely server side and can be further emphasized by what is occurring on your local network and/or on the way to our servers. Does your particular lag occur everywhere, at all times?

There is no way to attribute the PQ lag to anything but poor server performance. Everyone is having this problem, I have heard of no exceptions. Most of us play with people in many different countries so when the mage from Canada and the Mage from the U.S. are having identical problems then it's not our internet. The PQ's are unplayable. Yes the loot is there at the end but we want to play. Casting takes forever and sometimes never happens. Your at full health one second and dead the next because you didn't know that you were being attacked. The best part is that the lag seems to be only on the player's side, the mobs seem to be moving just fine.

Up until the new expansion came out, I've never had a problem with lag, even when some others were complaining of it, but now? IT'S HORRIBLE! I've noticed that when you get people in zone for one of the public events that no matter where you are in the zone, whether solo or grouped you are very adversely affected by the lag.

It's not on my end, if that were the case as has been stated already why is EVERYONE noticing it? I'm on Butcherblock and it's so bad there that our guild has decided to stop raiding till this is fixed. For what we pay to play, Sony owes us much more in terms of quality and performance!

Misschifz

I acknowledge the presence of the lag and am not implying that the source lies on our PC's end. Development is and will always be working to improve stability across the board for every aspect of the game. I have reported these specific incidents as well.

Locking this thread up as there isn't anything I can actually troubleshoot directly.
