ambient occlusion problems

<p>when the setting for ambient occlusion went live with the expansion i turned it on emedeatly to see what differances i could see...unfortunetly i didnt see any cnage except that eq2 started crashing on me about every 10 to 15 mins.</p><p>once i deactivated it the crashing stoped. i went into my nvidia settings to see if there was a setting for ambient occlusion and there was but it says that this aplication does not support ambient occlusion,are there new nvidia drivers that change this...maybe this is why eq2 was crashing on me.</p><p>any idea,s,i would love to have this turned on.....but without the crashes.</p>

<p>Nvidia did recently release new drivers which have been tested by us and are recommended.  The drivers can be downloaded directly from Nvidia.com</p>

<p>i am running the most current drivers 266.58 and ambient occlusion in my drivers control panel for eq2 is still greyed out and i cant activate it for the eq2 profile.</p><p>i will try enabling it under the global settings and see what that does.</p>
