I'm getting the same thing but I'm not on EQ2X. It tries all the login servers then fails.

It is 11:16 AM EST or 8:16 AM PST. According to the Sony Network Support page, all servers are up. However trying to logon to the Guk server I get the trying server #2 thru #6 and then server #1 and it WILL NOT LOGON. Seems like we just went through this same thing over the weekend. Sigh. Leave it to an expansion and the inevitable patches to screw things up.

I'm experiencing this currently, one day later. Just resubbed and trying to figure out what's going on.

~bd~

Having same issue. Odd thing is that my husband can connect without an issue.

Well, I was just checking to see if anyone else was having an issue. I'd like to hear back from tech about this. Game server status says everything's up.

~rc~

I think I have isolated the problem. I direct connected to my modem (taking the router out of the loop) and I also put my Webroot anti-virus into gamer mode. This allows me to connect and play. Going to work with router next. I'm just figuring the anti-virus was the problem.

~bd~

Security software does need to be bypassed, one way or another, in order to connect properly. I've included a link below to our Knowledge Base that outlines what needs to be configured in order to be able to connect. When Windows updates, or router resets, occur these settings may be reset so keep an eye on them when these events happen.

[EQII] Firewall and Proxy Information for EverQuest II
