I've actually had it like this for a few months but never cared until there was some freebie stuff with DOV

It looks like this:

I can still click the buttons (both the big blue ones and some others above that can't be seen at all) but all pages are black. I've tried to delete eq2ui_inventory_marketplace and eq2ui_inventory_market from the UI folder but it stays the same. Is there some other files that could cause this?

Are you using any custom UI mods? You could go through the steps of uninstalling them.

Removing a custom interface – EverQuest II: This is very similar to the method for EverQuest. The only difference is the file names. Character specific information is contained within the files _<charactername>_eq2_uisettings.ini which can also be modified to reflect changes in the UI when using a custom interface.

Open C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest IIUI

Delete any folders other than “default”

Delete all _<character name>_eq2_uisettings.ini files in the main EverQuest II folder

Or, you can delete the entire UI folder. But it’s size may mean a long download. Dialup users: you may want to take that into consideration.

If you still have the problem or you do not use a custom UI, you will need to reinstall the default UI completely:

Re-installing the default user interface - EverQuest II:

Open C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II.

Delete the UI folder.

Delete all server_character_eq2_uisettings.ini files.

Delete the file Eq2.ini.

Re-patch and run a full file scan from the Download Options menu.
