Flying mounts and PVP

<p>GM's would it be possible to hide the flying mounts while on the ground, but have them reappear in the air? Pvpn as a brig on a mount is possibly the gayest thing I've ever had to do.</p>

<p>PVP with the mounts is bad. You can circle above the battlefield out of range, unseen, even stealthed and then if you see a fight dive down, head first, strike and fight and after combat just jump in the air again and you are gone. I am not sure if that will make PVP more fun now...</p>

<p>been pvping through [Removed for Content] and Thurg for the past few days, no flying mount of my own yet, in the mean time i can say this:</p><p>Pvp with flying mounts in the picture is a whole new ballgame. pretty amusing to teleport straight up into the air and kill people as they hover there, thinking they are untouchable.</p><p>Next time dont float above me lol <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>The speed of the things is scary, if you can see someone on a flying mount, its already too late and they will fight you if they want to engage.</p><p>With all the ground hazards in velious, it makes adventuring on a pvp server really interesting. With potential foes soaring overhead and boatloads of npc social aggro on the ground, pitfalls and crevasses, it gets fun.</p><p>i like how thurg has a ceiling, flyers cant easily get high enough to escape long range attacks <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p>
