Appearance slot for flying mounts

<p>I know that many have asked if the "flying" mounts that we already had be made to really fly (carpets, hover discs, clouds)</p><p>That has gotten more or less a no.</p><p>I would like to suggest that perhaps a few mounts be given permission to be in the appearance slot when you have your flying mount equipped.  It could be limited to the few that really shoud fly.</p>

<p>Yeah katz I am 100% with you on this one.  The first thing I did after playing with my griffon for a few minutes was try and put my cloud mount and my disk in the appearance slot.  I was really looking forward to flying on a cloud.  I see no reason that clouds and disks and for the love of god flying carpets can't be used in the appearance slot at the very least.</p>

<p>As long as the appearance is tagged only to mounts that could fly, I agree. I don't want to see the game degrade to something stupid like flying rhinos and worgs, the pink unicorn is already not fitting at all with the general aspect of the game, you know. It's not hello kitty online it's EQ2, yes it's a fantasy game but it has a general "realistic" feel if we can call it like that. I hope the devs will be serious if they open up the appearance tab for flying mounts! I'm 100% for flying carpet/discs/clouds though!</p>

<p>I don't really care about flying mounts but i was ready this entry and saw Mr. Nix with his comment about the " Pink Unicorn and the Hello Kitty " crack... Well excuse me Mr. Nix but Everquest2 isn't just for MEN, us WOMEN play too.. if you want to get nickpicky how about the Star Trek'ish mounts they just did for the reward for the flying races... Now isn't that a little too far off base for Everquest2...</p><p>Don't bust on the Pink Unicorns.. they are just as fantasy as the star trek mounts...</p>

<p>Yesterday's races kinda set a precedent for all discs to be used as appearance for flying.</p><p>Carpets and clouds should follow at the same time.</p>
