<p>Bought the DoV box and was unable to install from the disc (cannot access this file or that file).  I ended up uninstalling the game and reinstalling from the box disc. </p><p>Since the expansion launch, I have had many unexplained graphics issues.  I cannot progress quests or get thrugh zones.  Some examples are: Quest items do not appear at all (even with lowering shade settings, performance settings, etc - tried all sorts of setting changes).  NPCs float in air. Floors are not visible and I end up "falling throgh the world".  Instead of seeing a boulder, I see a pink box (similar for other items, such as door clickies, fire pits, etc - all pink boxes).  Sometimes in zones, a door is visible but not clickable and I cannot click out of the zone.  Entered a petition for assistance, but no response with any suggestions to fix the problem.  Help?</p>

<p>The file conversion from the old formats (that are on the discs) may have resulted in corrupt files.  Our recommended method is to use our Streaming EQ2 LaunchPad.   You can leave it on to download the entire game or you can play immediately while it downloads.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p>

<p>I don't believe this is the case.  I uninstalled the game and reinstalled older boxes (SO and RoK)  - same thing.  I think the streaming launcher is actually the problem.</p>

<p>Could you explain what you mean by the box discs?</p><p>If you are using the discs at all, this will be older files that will then prompt updates.  This process can cause corrupt files during the updates in some circumstances.  We do not recommend installing with the discs at all.</p><p>Instead, we recommend a fresh, clean, install using our downloaded EQII LaunchPad that I linked above.</p>
