So a bunch of people get suspended for a week and don't really care because Rift just launched and you just pushed them to the new game. Crazy thing about Rift is it launched on time (to the second) and nobody got screwed out of the launchdate. And I'm willing to bet I'll be moving to Rift too even though I didn't get suspended. I can't play everquest2 anyways because you can't keep everfrost online for 5 minutes. If I were compensated for unscheduled serverdowntime on everfrost I'd have a hell of a lot of beer.

This is the 3rd night in a row I've been booted from the server....for what? Server overload? I know others are complaining about missing out on world first events. For me it doesn't really matter given that I have no lvl 90 toons and thus the xpac does not give me anything worth having (except maybe the extra AA's, but most of my toons have 100 or less in that department, so that isn't even much of an incentive). However, what I am concerned about is that when I attempt to log in after the servers crash, I get the 'Could not find world Everfrost' then....nothing. Given that the server status says that the server is still up, what the devil is going on? Can you please send both my accounts back to the Blackburrow server?

Anyone else wonder if this is intentional? I was thinking it was SOE just not giving a crap about their subscribers as usual after the rocky EF merger, and then for the first 5 hours after EF server was down on launch day... But I am starting to wonder if maybe SOE is paying too much for servers, so they decided to downsize. If they frustrate people enough, they will either stop playing or transfer to another server...solving contractual obligations. I am also wondering if maybe they moved EF and Blackburrow's original servers over to EQX, and gave us the (Explicative) server. Either that or the merger left us with some bad code on our server...regardless of the issue, I think we can all confirm that their is a problem, and after this much time it should be (Explicative) permanently fixed, not patched or a log in server reboot and temporarily locking and unlocking the log in server. Enough is (Explicative) enough...fix it now or give us back our months subscription. Simple as that.

Yep...I'm having the same problems. Have rerun the patcher 3 times...NADA....5 toons missing--my highest level toons at that--hope they come home tonight...Seriously? I'm a full-time grad student and a single mom of 4...I don't get much play time (usually in bursts) and this is what I have to deal with when I do try to log on?

On another note, I guess I should be glad I'm playing and not my 13 year old son--He would have thrown both my desktop and laptop out the window by now

Its that same up/down up/down can't see your character mess we had on launch day. That five day wait for your mount is going to turn into weeks at this rate. I haven't even gotten to be on long enough to start the quest.

Rothgar, if this helps, I was in Great Divide trying to zone into an old TOFS zone I wanted to get an update from. I sat at "Waiting on Zone Server" for 5 minutes before it told me "zone unavailable" and kicked me back out into Great Divide. This I tried twice, each time able to talk to guild and private tells. Folks were talking about long zoning and crashing.

Then when I tried to call to guild hall, I hung up (hubby was on a toon in Great Divide and didn't see me crash until the server itself crashed).

unfortunately deleting cache files or ini isnt going to help anything. if you have been one of the people to do this everytime the server goes down or you are missing characters you are just wasting your time. when you reload the patcher it will update your caches. just for future notice, in case this continues past this week.

So do you think that SOE will give Everfrost server a couple of double XP days after they get this problem completely fixed to make up for all the playtime and XP missed because of their downtime issue? DOUBT IT... I am betting there won't be anyone here on a weekend to attempt to fix the problem...I will be very surprised if the server is usable tonight.
