crashing and constant 4.5mb download

<p>every time i start up eq2 my stationlogin performs a quick 4.5mb download, every single time since the patch. and now i am crashing ingame in new halas, not a lot of players running about and im not doing anything overly extravagant that would pull too hard on the video card or the 5gb of ddr3 ram i have.</p><p>i am running windows7 ultimate, 5gb of ddr3 ram, a 1 TB hd, not sure what else you need. mostly i am curious as to the relationship between the constant 4.5mb download and crashing since the patch.</p><p>thanks for any help you can give.</p>

<p>I am also getting the constant 4.5mb patch, not sure about the crashing as I am not near New Halas. Almost exact same specs as the op win7 ultimate 64bit, 4gig ram, etc.</p><p>I am using the <span > streaming client.</span></p>

<p>I also have win 7 64 bit, 4 gig of ram and so on and so on and my system is doing same thing with the repeat 4.5mb download.  I get to the receiving zone info and it sits for like 10 minutes before I load in.  I have reset cache, check router for port forwarding and trigger ports, reset video settings, lastest drivers.</p><p>But since the latest patch if I even get in after 10 minutes it sometimes just logs out or if I try and zone I have to close eq2 and log back in and wait the 10 minutes.</p><p>Even before that if I joined a group in a dungeon my system would blue screen even after using low video settings and it would always give me a eq2 log error which I think is caused by being flooded by quests.  For example if I join a group and we start sharing quests I will all of a sudden have over 80 quests in my journal even though I am only silver member ship.  Eventually I crash.  If I do a windows check then it corrects the log and I join the game and have left the group I no longer crash anymore.</p><p>So many issues.</p><p>And it doesnt happen in any of my other games at all like bc2 (vietnam), wow, and so on and so on.</p><p>Only this game I have issues with.</p>

<p>okay, today i cant even login now. my launchpad downloaded 14mb. the launchpad then keeps trying to download another patch of 340kb but at about 5.1kb it stops and gives a message stating:</p><p>Error Code 1012</p>

<p>Downloading 4.5mb everytime I login as well, streaming client.</p><p>Also went from instantly alt-tabbing in and out of the game to it taking 5-10 secs everytime.. and crashing occasionally when I try.</p><p>Good times.</p>

Hopefully this patch helps others too.</p>
