expoO7_rgn_eastern_wastes_vpk must be one hellavu file! It takes longer to download than some whole games! They must talk an awful lot in the Eastern wastes.... been about 2 hours so far.... impressive.

Our servers can send you the game data at rates that would support tens of thousands of concurrent downloading at full consumer speeds.

However, Station Launcher is giving people issues and we recommend you make the transition to the EQ2 LaunchPad. I recommend a fresh install but you can select your existing EQ2 folder to avoid some of the re-downloading but there will still be updates but you can log in and play while it does this.

[EQII] LaunchPad

When I selected Install A New copy there was exactly zero opportunity to browse to my existing EQ2 folder. I guess I just lose ALL my personal settings.

As soon as you click Next on Install a New copy it immediately takes you to a window with a field that reads Choose Install Location with a button next to it with '...' Click the '...' which lets you specify any folder you want.

Your default UI settings are stored within a file called <server>_<character>_eq2_uisettings.xml

You can copy that file and any other file with your server/character name to export your settings to any other installation folder.
