I have had the same problem with my new vampire I made last night. Petitioned it this morning, haven't seen a reply yet. I had wondered if anyone else had the same problem. I don't use any downloaded UI, just the one that the game provides.

Same here. Clicking on Examine and clicking on the item in the chat box does nothing. I use DrumsUI and it was updated.

It's working fine with the default so still a ui issue. I did delete all my caches and all the extra ui's I had in folders to make it work though

This has been an issue with several of the third party UI's issues concerning this have no place on these forums and the already understaffed support didn't have to deal with this kind of crap would have more time to deal with real issues concerning people with problems that are actually beause of SOE and not self imposed.

If u didn't notice it, one of the posters doesn't use a 3rd party UI, and still had problems, maybe reading all the posts might help,,,

I was on the default ui also. I had issues until I deleted all the cache files.

I am having the same issue since DoV. I have already petitioned and gotten the same canned response. I have never used a custom UI, unless EQ2maps falls into that category.

Before I delete my cache as one poster has already done, can someone explain which files I should delete?

The cache file for each character, etc....

Thanks

Found my problem, was in an addon that was in my EQ2maps directory called EQ2 Questlist. As soon as I updated this, I could add collections again.

Hope this might help anyone else stuck out there.

This is still happening to me on occasion and I'm trying to nail down the exact cause. I use ProfitUI, which has been patched for DoV. The first time I logged in on each computer after GU59, I couldn't add to collections. If I loaded the default UI and then went back to ProfitUI, the issue was resolved permanently. It seems like something isn't being initialized properly and it drives me nuts that I can't figure out what.

The fact that some people had the problem with the default UI and that clearing cache files helped is at least something to work with.

-= Therendil =-

I run ProfitUI and was having this problem as well. Here's the issue and how I solved it:

I was running the ProfitUI Updater and I thought I was up-to-date. I have one copy of EQ2 on my E drive (the one I mainly use). And I have a 2nd copy of EQ2 on my F drive. Somehow my file paths got off and the ProfitUI Updater was running on my F drive. Once I corrected the file path in the Updater and re-ran it, the problem was solved.

Reproduced this issue a few different ways but each time the UI file was the culprit.

As the posted above stated, make sure your updater is running the correct folder for your custom UIs.
