<p>First pull of this got him to 30, he spawned the 4 pillars. We killed one and he healed to 50. This then became a rinse and repeat for over 30 minutes. Finally gave up and wiped it.</p><p>Went back got him to 30, healed to 50 after killing a pillar. Then when we dragged him to another lightning bolt he got the ice shield and it never went away, couldn't get him back to 30. Gave up and wiped it after 5 minutes of dragging him around and him never getting the icecage to explode on him(even though he was placed properly to)</p><p>3rd fight got him to 30, killed a pillar, got him to 10ish, got kicked to another pillar, killed that, he was healed to about 30ish again but didnt respawn anything, burnt him to dead.</p><p>Ok fight but few minor bugs need taken care of.</p>

<p>This guy was one of the most frustrating encounters that I can remember the misfortune of ever facing. One of our guild leaders said he had no desire to ever go back to Umbral Halls, save for getting the quest updates needed to progress through the zone. The group had tried to fight him I think once or twice before I came in, and then we spent over 45 minutes in one pull trying to kill him, stuck in the same loop that you described, before we gave up and wiped it, then reset. I think it took us about 10-15 minutes on our 2nd attempt to get it figured out and finally killed. My impressions can't really be stated on these forums, but I'll say that I'm not pleased with this fight, especially some of the apparent bugs.</p><p>It's also <em>extremely</em> disappointing and aggravating that quest mobs in the ToFS zones only drop appearance gear. Given the difficulty of the encounters, there is NO reward for the risk. I'm not sure who thought that was a good idea, but it certainly isn't. Please, add some rewards that are worth the risk, or people are simply not going to want to do this content again.</p>

<p>We finally found that when he spawned 3 or 4 pillars, we killed one and left the others up. That way when he tried to spawn more at 30'sh again he didnt get the heal buff.</p>
