10-15 minute login and zone times

<p>Perhaps the Befallen/Oasis server merge was not such a good idea?</p><p>Took 8 minutes to get to SS, another 4 minutes to get from SS to Velious on one account.</p><p>After 16 minutes I managed to log another character in, sat at receiving zone info for ages.</p>

<p>Yeah ... my character seems to be stuck zoning into my house in Halas to hang my paintings. I've tried disconnecting, letting it sit, nothing seems to work. I'm going on 12 minutes of "receiving zone information" .... just leaving it here and praying. Had no problem zoning into the guild hall though, or even into the new zone from Sinking Sands <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

<p>Zoning anywhere I get "Receiving Zone Info" forever and after 15 mins I disconnect.  It randomly lets me in and then as soon as I zone again, it gets stuck zoning.  It has happened zoning to Guild Hall, my house in SQ, SS or just trying to log back in to those zones.  Also, once I had no hotbars and no hot keys would work.</p><p><span style="color: #339966;">Cocowolf</span></p><p><span style="color: #339966;">90 Warden</span></p><p><span style="color: #339966;">90 Tailor</span></p>

<p>Well, I guess I am done trying for now.  I got into SS and went to run to the docks and froze with an EQ2Client error.  It is getting too frustrating to try to enjoy the new zones. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/c30b4198e0907b23b8246bdd52aa1c3c.gif" border="0" /></p>

<p>I cannot believe after all these expansions that this "receiving zone info" for 10 min is still occuring.  And it really makes sense on the first day (and for the next 11 days) that SOE would find it wise to give away a freebie a day to each toon one has.  I am sure that traffic of each person logging in and out of each of there 7-10 toons to get a free item wouldnt slow down the zone server.</p><p>Would love to be able to explore the new zone....maybe I should just wait 12 days and hope the the sluggish zoning and movement within the zones will improve...</p>
