Variant of Launch problem

<p>Same issue here, seems to have done the update but then no character select and no option to launch game.</p>

<p>Same this morning- jammed in same place. I at least have a theoretical character list to select from- but all this does is change the name of the character I cant load- ASSISTANCE PLEASE.</p>

<p>Mine fails after updating dpo_housing_adv04.vpk.  It says "update complete" after downloading that one, but it leaves the download button highlighted.  Pressing download again simply downloads the same file over and over.</p>

<p>Exactly the same only it downloads some eastern wastes vpk in my case---</p>

<p>Ours seems to have fixed itself now, found I had to patch off the US then login via EU, yesterday it failed, this morning it finally updated some files then gave us the play option.</p>

<p>Great, I've even reproduced what you have done and the workaround seems to have a good success rate.  I've reported the issue itself and will update with more information when I get it.</p>
